Tax Certificates | Account Information Section
 Account Number
Enter the Account Number to bring up the specific account. Account number access requires an exact match; there are no possible candidates, the exact account number must be enter to access the account with this method. Once the account number is entered press enter and the account if found is displayed otherwise the system displays an error the record was not found.
To skip locating a record by account number leave the field blank and press enter to enter a PIDN or click the mouse in the field to be searched on.

 PIDN
Enter the PIDN (Property Identification Number) to bring up the specific account. PIDN number access does not require an exact match; a possible candidates list is provided based on the information which was entered into this field. Once the PIDN is entered press enter and either the account that directly matches the number will display, a list of accounts that met the criteria list will display on the Possible Candidates popup or the system displays an error that no records were found matching the criteria.
To skip locating a record by PIDN leave the field blank and press enter to enter a Name or click the mouse in the field to Owner Name field.

 Account Status Display
Displays the current account status and status notes, if any.

 Name and Address Fields
Owner Name is a searchable field when locating an account record. Enter the owners name and press return to return the possible candidates popup. Whatever information is entered is where the search begins and ends. Typing in Miller finds all records that begin with Miller. Typing Miller Anna returns only records that begin Miller Anna.
The address below displays the current mailing address of the owner on file; display only.

 Legal Description Display
The Legal Description of the current account; display only.

 Select Account Button
Click the Select button to create a tax certificate record for the account displayed.
