1. Rollback Record Parameters
  • Entity is the tax entity the rollback is based on.
  • Effective Date is the date the rollback became effective from the appraisal district.
  • Rollback Entity is the entity used to bill and track rollback taxes.
  • Rollback Year is the year the rollback starts, rollback will include previous 5 years.

The Mode Button changes depending on whether a record is being added, changed or deleted.  Once all the rollback information as be entered click the mode button to add, save or delete the record.

Years Rolled Back Data

3. Years Rolled Back Data
Years Rolled Back is where record calculation is performed.
  • ACRES - Acres is the total acreage for the specific year.
  • ROLLBACK - Rollback is the acreage that is to be rolled back.
  • YEAR - Year is the tax year the rollback is recapturing deferred taxes.
  • MKT VALUE - Market Value is the market value of the agricultural land for the specific tax year.
  • AG USE - Agricultural Use is the amount of value that was taxed for the specific tax year.
  • AG LOSS -  Agricultural Loss is the value that was deferred and is subject to rollback.
  • TAX RATE - Tax Rate for the specific tax year.
  • DEFFERED TAX - Deferred Tax is the amount of tax which has been deferred and is being rolled back.
  • BASE DUE - Base Tax Due is the amount of deferred tax + interest calculated on the deferral and is the amount due.
  • REF No - Reference number is an account to reference the rollback, usually the original record.
